- While the Black & White slider is useful…and let's you really decide what part of the colors…you latch onto for the conversion,…there are three additional sliders hidden within…that lets you fine-tune the effect.…I find that taking the time to manipulate these sliders…gives you a much better black and white conversion.…Let's work with this image here,…some graffiti on a door.…Now, I like this image a lot,…it's already been adjusted a bit,…it was shot in camera and this is a JPEG file.…
What I wanna do though is bring back the color a little bit.…As we reduce the Black & White here,…notice that we can dial in a quick look,…and you see as we drag that through,…how different parts of the color…are becoming lighter or darker in the conversion.…Now, expand that…and you'll notice that you have some more controls.…Here is the ability to tweak the intensity.…Notice that this allows you to control…how strong the effect gets…and you have the ability…to adjust the presence of the Neutral value.…
