- All right, we've taken a brief look at definition…but I want to dig a bit deeper as well as sharpening.…To do this, let's reprocess a new photo and do the…black and white conversion and we'll pay particular…detail to the small details.…Let's take another image here…that's got a lot of similar tones.…We'll do this shot here from a winery.…What I want to do is really push this image.…Now this image has soft, shallow depth of field…and it also has a lot of similar colors.…
So to start, let's really bring up the Light…and the Color so we have a strong image.…And I'll increase the Contrast dramatically…while actually backing down the Saturation.…If you look at that, you see we have stronger separation…there, particularly in the leaves.…Let's put a little more Contrast in and then add…the Black & White conversion with an auto amount.…Dragging that over will find the perfect point for the…Black & White conversion.…
That looks good.…And we'll play with the Intensity,…and of course the Neutral and the Tone.…Now let's finesse this.…
