Working with dappled and window light

- Next I want to talk about two different types of light. Dappled light and window light. We'll first talk about dappled light. Now, dappled light is a type of light that we have in photographs like this, where we have branches or leaves, or something interrupting the light. Now, I'll show you a few examples of this light in just a few, because in reality, I don't use it very much. And here's why. If you look at this picture, it's actually kind of confusing to look at, because there's so much going on. There's brightness. There's darkness, and it's sort of difficult to figure out. And that's one of the challenges of working with dappled light. Here you can see a couple of portraits where I moved a little bit closer, rather than showing so much of that, which work a little bit better.
