What happens to the old Lightroom CC (now Classic)?

- When Adobe released the new Lightroom CC, it confused a lot of folks. That's because their previous product was called Lightroom CC, but the two products were completely different. In my mind, it's a bit similar to what happened when Apple released Final Cut Pro Seven and then a few years later released Final Cut Pro 10. While there was a lot similar in the names, the tools were completely different and in many ways incompatible. Well, the new Lightroom CC does a pretty good job on compatibility. Files, like HDRs and panoramics that you've made in the old Lightroom will move into the new Lightroom and they can be modified and tweaked and cropped and developed, but currently the new Lightroom CC can't make an HDR or make a panoramic. That functionality may change and it can come at any moment, but it's not there yet. So what does this mean? Well, for now, Lightroom Classic is what used to be called Lightroom CC.
