Using 360 drones

- Here at The Practicing Photographer we've spent a good amount of time talking about drone based photography, which has, with the advancement of small drones with very good built in cameras, it has become a great way of getting aerial photographs or even just photographs that you would normally need a tall ladder or a crane for. We've also spent a good amount of time talking about 360 photography using dedicated cameras that can capture a navigable spherical image. Today, we're going to talk about combining those two things and shooting 360 photography from a drone. Now you may immediately think you're going to hang that VR camera from your drone. I'm not. With certain drones you can now use the built in camera and special software to actually shoot a 360 from the air. I have a DJI Mavic here, the software that I'm talking about today is called Hangar 360. That's H A N G A R 360, which works with the Mavic, the Phantom and several other drones.
