- If I bring up the topic of photojournalism, you probably start thinking about your favorite newspaper or National Geographic or The New York Times or something like that. You may not really have a clear idea of what a photojournalist does. I think a lot of people think that photojournalists lead this very exciting, glamorous life of heading out into exciting, exotic places to take pictures and they do do all of that, but they do a lot more. I happen to have with me, right now, an actual photojournalist. This is Paul Taggert who some of you may have seen here in the Lynda library. Paul and I both came through, as teenagers, a great program in Oklahoma called The Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute which you may have seen if you watched my Composition course.
