- As your starting to grow as an artist…and you're practicing more,…you're developing your skill set,…it's really important to start to get…to know and understand the industry.…Now that starts with you literally sitting down…and looking at every product you have…that's involved in terms of creating your finished work.…So obviously it's your cameras.…It's your lenses, it's your accessories,…but in addition to that you've got other hardware.…It's your tripod, it's your computer, it's the software…you're using to run all of it.…
You've got studio lighting.…You've got various accessories.…You've got camera bags.…And then in addition to that,…I tend to separate manufacturers versus vendors,…because your vendors tend to be support companies.…You've got an album company that's…helping create albums for you.…You've got a frame company that's…helping you with frames for your finished work.…And understanding every one of those players…in the business and knowing who they are…and getting to know some of the staff at all those companies…
