Understanding Raids and when to use them

- A few months ago I was walking home late at night from a friend's house and smelled a fire. Now, I live in San Francisco where most of the houses are built of wood, redwood, actually. So, there's always an unmistakable smell if a house is burning somewhere nearby. Ironically, of course, the smell of a burning house delivers, of all things, a chill. And I found myself thinking about how terrible it would be to have my building burn down, and so, inevitably, I ask myself that question that we've all asked, "What would I grab?" And I realized then that we now live in a time where there is no excuse for losing photos if your house burns down. Digital photos and scans of analog photos can be easily copied and that copy can be stored somewhere else. The next day I went and bought some more hard drives, but doing so took some strategizing.
