Track log on a DSLR

- In many cases, I find that my location during photography is important, or at least useful. And that's part of the reason that I use a camera that includes a built-in GPS receiver, so that all of my photos can have location information, GPS coordinates, embedded in metadata. In addition to tagging photos with location information though, it's also possible with some cameras to actually record a track log, a log that shows you, potentially, on a map, exactly where you were exploring during your photography. This camera has exactly that kind of feature. So I can go into the menu, and under the GPS settings, in this case, first I need to make sure that GPS is enabled, in other words, the GPS antenna is turned on. But then I can also go into the setup mode, and then choose the GPS Logger feature, and enable that. And then the camera will start recording my location information as a log.
