- Hey, everybody, Sean here, and welcome back to another episode of Mobile Photography Weekly. This week, I want to focus on closeup and macro photography and share some tips with you so you can get better closeup and macro images with your camera phone. The first tip I have to share is that, for a lot of closeup pictures, you don't even need to have a special macro lens. Often times, depending on how close you need to get to your subject, the built-in lens in your phone will do the job just fine. So I've got this beautiful little bud down here of this flower, and I'm going to take a picture with my regular lens, so this is just a normal wide-angle lens on the iPhone. And what I'm going to do is I'm just going to move the phone as close as I can until it won't focus any more and that'll tell me how close I need to get. Just this really nice composition of these green leaves here, we'll put the flower off to the side a little bit, kind of channel the rule of thirds there. And I'm not…
