- I will confess. I'm a simple background kind of guy. I like clean backdrops that don't interfere. However, we don't always have the luxury of having something like this. A lot of times we just have to work with the room that we have. So, let's talk a little bit about that. Let's go to this next frame here, all right. What I've done here is, this is just the room without any backdrops at all. So you've got all this crazy stuff going on. You have me in a mirror, I mean, kind of nettie. And I'm having the camera data show because I want you to see that F8.0 there. So, that's what the camera stopped down a bit. And you can see that there's more detail in the background. But if I open up the aperture a bit to F2.0, see how they get softer, let's go back and forth. So F8.0, F2.0. So this is an argument for having a prime lens that has a pretty wide maximum aperture, because if nothing else, even if you're in a busy…
