- As I'm working with people, I've got to help them feel a little bit more comfortable in front of the camera, and the thing that helps people feel the least comfortable is just staring at the camera. I'm working with buttons and things, and they look at the camera, and they turn on their smile, and as they look at me, the smile just slowly gets worse and worse. Over time, the smile just gets worse really quickly. We need to have some things we can do to help people maintain their comfort level and also be fresh because like I say, when they look up at the camera, their eyes are good, and then they start to get wide, or they start to dry out, and so we need to keep their eyes and their expressions fresh. There's several things we can do to help people look their best while we're shooting the whole time. Some of the things I'll do, I'll say, "Cameron, "please look at the red tape on that "thing in front of you right there," or, I'll say, "Look, right here at this knob," or I'll say…
