- So you've decided to use your smartphone for your marketing photography, great. Let's talk about how to get the best pictures possible out of this device. The first thing I want to talk about is keeping your camera stable. If you're shooting with a full-size camera, it's really easy to think about this, right. You hold it with two hands. You get your elbows in nice and tight. You think about it. You hold it steady. You squeeze it gently. You take that picture. But when we use a smartphone, we're really inclined to, just kind a, hold it with one hand, you know, it's really casual, we're like, oh yeah, just taking a picture, it's just this super casual thing, and it's easy to get sloppy with it. I want you to really be conscious of how you're holding it. Hold it steady. Maybe even hold it with two hands. Even consider using a stabilizer. So this device here is from a company called MeFOTO.
