- This week on The Practicing Photographer, we're going to talk 4K video. Now, I know this is The Practicing Photographer, but we do discuss video sometimes here, because, as you may have already discovered as a practicing photographer, increasingly clients want video as well as stills. If you've been out camera shopping lately, you know that good quality still cameras offer the ability to shoot 1080, that is HD video, but some also offer an option for 4K video. And that 4K video option costs a little bit more, so you may have wondered, "Do, I need 4K video?" You might go immediately from there to, "I don't need 4K video. "I don't even have a 4K TV. "I've never had a client ask for 4K video. "I deliver HD video, "maybe even less than HD video if I'm going for the web."
