- Throughout this course, we've covered a lot of strategies for optimizing your files as well as getting them out there for consumption. I'd like to recap some of the options that you have available to you and encourage you to check out some of the movies in this course again if you want to refresh. First off, when it comes to social media, you really have a couple of choices. If you're targeting Facebook, support for GIFs has varied. Sometimes, Facebook allows them. Sometimes they change their mind, and they disable them. Don't be surprised to find that posting GIFs to Facebook can be limited. In this case, using an HD video file, preferably one that you've optimized, using an h.264 preset, will make it easy to post. What you're going to need to make sure, though, is that you consider looping the file in advance. This might mean taking it into a video editing tool, or choosing a method that supports multiple looping versions when you make the initial video file. On the other hand, if…
