There will be times when you get so busy that you cannot post content to social media. How do you make sure that your social media posts happen? This is where you need to schedule them. In this movie, author Richard Harrington explains why scheduling is important, and gives a few examples of how you can schedule your posts.
- I've mentioned automation a few times,…and many folks think it's a bad word…when it comes to social media.…But personally, I believe in automation.…You see, you're going to get busy,…or maybe you come across lot of great stuff,…and rather than posting it all at once,…you can spread it out a bit.…Let me show you two services that are available.…A free service is called dlvr.it,…and this allows you to take an RSS feed…to feed social media.…Now, your blog, website, or many other content sites,…generate an RSS feed.…
What this allows you to do,…is paste in the URL,…or find the RSS feed,…and then choose to connect your social networks.…So, the first step is, you need to find your RSS feed.…Now, there are many ways to do this depending upon sites,…but I'll just paste in my personal blog,…and you see it finds the RSS feed,…and I can add it.…You can give other information here,…and control what happens.…For example, I can immediately share any new results found,…or put them in my queue so I can grab things…and then manually schedule them later.…
