Preventing blurry images

- Earlier we looked at a particular shooting situation that required some simple exposure calculation. When I was shooting cameras here on the table I had to deal with a slow shutter speed. Because modern light meters are so good, you won't have to go through that level of thought and calculation for every shot that you take. However, that doesn't mean that you can get away with ignoring the exposure settings that your camera shows you after you have pressed that shutter button. Earlier, I explained the necessity of always half pressing the shutter button before you take a shot. If you want to consistently get sharp images, then you need to develop the habit of always taking note of the shutter speed that your camera has chosen after you do that half press of the shutter button. I hope by now you understand why. If you try to shoot handheld with a shutter speed that's too low, then you'll run the risk of getting a blurry image due to camera shake.
