Optimizing image exposure
- Let's explore some specific techniques for optimizing images for stock. To begin, let's talk about exposure. Making sure the image is properly exposed. Not too bright and not too dark. Let's tackle a photo first. Let's work with a series of images here. In this case, I have a high dynamic range photo. You can also open up a single image. But I'm gonna work with an image that has a little bit more tone. When I click open, the files are taken into Adobe Camera RAW. This interface let's me work with the photos and develop aesthetics. I'll click on the first image and press Command or Control + A for select all. Let's go ahead and maximize this window. I'll now right click and choose merge to HDR. This is just gonna create a new image that has an expanded dynamic range. It's just a super RAW file that combines the exposure details with the other photos. You don't have to shoot HDR images to work with these in Adobe Camera RAW. I'm gonna check the box here for align images to deal with a…
