- Being able to safely operate the aircraft relies on many things, but among them is the physical and mental capabilities of the remote pilot in command, the person manipulating the controls, the visual observer, and any other direct participant in the aircraft operation. Keep in mind that no person may manipulate the flight controls of the aircraft if they know or have a reason to know that they have a physical or mental condition that would interfere with the safe operation of the aircraft. There are also certain medical conditions that may create a risk to operations. It is the remote pilot in command's responsibility to determine that their medical condition is under control and that they can safely conduct an sUAS operation.
