Manual focus
- The X-T2's auto focus is very good, but there will still be times when you'll need to focus manually. Low light situations can cause trouble for even the best auto focus systems, and so will require manual focus. Or maybe you've used a lens adapter to attach a third party lens that lacks auto focus, or whose auto focus system just doesn't work with the X-T2. Or maybe you just attached a lens that doesn't have auto focus. Manual focus will be your only way to work with any of these situations. Some people prefer manual focus when they're shooting moving subjects because they feel that they can control manual focus better and work more quickly than they can using the focus tracking features built into the camera. Whatever your reason, if you're using manual focus, you have a few decisions to make regarding precisely how you want manual focus to work.
