Long lens options

- I'm standing here right now with this Canon 5D Mark IV, and a big mess of seals. There's a little raft of seals about, I don't know, 40 yards over there. It's the kind of thing you really want a long lens for. And I'm not someone who's ever thought that I would buy a really, really long lens, for a couple reasons. One, I don't tend to do a lot of telephoto shooting. I'm not a big wildlife shooter. And honestly, mostly, I don't want to carry one of the things around. They're huge. If you've seen my Foundations of Photography Lenses course, you saw where we rented an 800-millimeter lens, and it's like carrying a weapon of some kind. It's enormous, it's heavy, and that's why it's pretty exciting to find this. The new, not new, it's about a year old, the Sigma 150 to 300, no I'm sorry, 150 to 600-millimeter lens. I just blew my big build-up there. This is a 600-millimeter lens, and it's only this big. Now, this is fully compressed. It telescopes as I zoom. When I zoom out, it goes out…
