Loading a movie into Photoshop
- Alright, our first software tool of choice is going to be Adobe Photoshop. I chose this as our first platform because most of you will have access to Photoshop. Now in order to work with video files you will need to have either Photoshop Extended, which was a standalone product previously sold, or one of the editions of Photoshop in the Creative Cloud plan. This means either the full Creative Cloud plan or the Photographers plan, that'll give you access to a newer version of Photoshop that fully supports video. If you don't have this option, don't worry. You can also load a video file differently, but it's a bit more cumbersome. Let's bring the file in, it's a pretty straightforward process, I'm just going to use the drag and drop method, but I'll show you one more as well. To open a video file, simply take the video file and drag it onto the Photoshop icon. You'll notice in this case that it opens up into Photoshop and it automatically shows you a video editing timeline. If you…
