- In previous episodes, I've talked about a couple of options for cleaning the sensor on your camera, including sending the camera off to someone else and letting them do the job for you. But if like me you prefer to clean your own sensor, in part because I'm often on the go and I don't have anyone else available to clean my camera, then I will use a variety of different options. I'll make sure to use a loop so that I can view the sensor itself with the illumination that it provides in this case, some sensor cleaning swabs and the liquid. But what I've found in some cases is that I miss a spot, or sometimes the residue from the liquid doesn't completely get removed from the sensor. So rather than using another swab and more solution to try to clean that sensor again, I've found that a device intended to help you clean lenses can actually help you clean that sensor.
