- Let's talk about the single most exciting topic of the course, backup. Okay, maybe it's not that exciting, but it is important, really important. You don't want to risk using your pictures. Losing your pictures would be terrible, so you wanna make sure that you have them backed up. Now, the good news is that if you're using one of the services that we've been talking about here like Adobe's Lightroom or Apple Photos or Google Photos, your photos are effectively backed up automatically for you, because every time you add a picture into one of the libraries, they are automatically uploaded to that cloud service where it is then available to be synced over to your other devices. So your original pictures are stored in the cloud, which is great. That means that if you lose your laptop or your tablet get stolen or whatever the case may be, all you have to do is get another device, log into your account, and here come all your pictures.
