- A while ago, I told you about the diabolical plan I was hatching to have this Fuji X-E2, that I happen to have laying around, converted to an infrared camera. The camera is back, I sent it off to LifePixel.com, after going through a lot of turmoil about how to have it converted, and I covered all that in a previous Practicing Photographer. It came back, the conversion was done successfully, and I've had a little bit of time to shoot with it, so I just want to talk to you about what I've found from this process. I will tell you the good news right up front, I'm really glad I did this, this was a good use of an extra camera body, I'm glad to have it around, and I've been having some fun with it. At the same time, I have been finding that my taste for infrared photography is very particular. And so I'm not finding it, I'm not finding it as useful in as many situations as I thought I was going to, but that's my personal taste and preference, yours may differ. So the camera doesn't look…
