- Now that you're done making pictures with your subject, and you've had a good time during the shoot, and your client has had a fun time, you don't want to mess that up by ruining the delivery of the photographs. The whole experience from shoot to delivery determines how your client will feel about the pictures and how much they will refer you to other people. You need to deliver the pictures in a timely manner. That just depends on what you've already defined for your client. If you tell them it's going to take you two weeks to get them to them, you need to deliver them in two weeks. If you tell them it's going to be one week, you need to deliver them within one week. If you tell them it's going to be tomorrow, you're probably going to be staying up late tonight. Also, I find that just about whatever I tell my client, they're going to ask for one a bit sooner.
