- You know, the Library of Congress here in the United States has this incredible repository of some amazing photography. Hi, I'm Steve Simon, The Passionate Photographer and welcome to another edition of Photo Critique of the Week. This week, I thought we'd take a look at some of the images that are available to us online and in person from the Library of Congress. Images that I think we can learn from. That, though, they were taken a very long time ago, still hold up very very well. This first image would be an amazing shot if it was taken yesterday or today or tomorrow. And it's of the daredevil, John Jack Reynolds and was photographed in 1919. Now, one of the sad things for some of these images is the photographers are not identified and it's really too bad because this really is an amazing picture.
