- Let's talk about the degree of difficulty for each of these specialties. Now right off the bat, there's a complete fallacy out there where people think that wedding photography is the easiest. If you're a wedding photographer you know that's absolutely not true. The reality is I've heard the battle back and forth over the years, for example, working in a commercial studio and just photographing products on table top photography, it takes a different skill level, but you don't have to worry about the client, there's nobody you have to talk to, you're an individual contributor and you're just taking images and working with your lighting. Now I think it takes a different skill set but the reality is that in terms of the interaction there really is no interaction with your subject matter.
