Create copy scans of old negatives

- Hi, I'm Sean Duggan and on this episode of Mobile Photography Weekly, I've got a do it yourself project for any of you out there who have some old negatives, old family photos maybe. And you want to get those negatives and rescue them from the shoebox or the drawer, or the old photo processing envelopes, where they've been stored for years, and kind of resurrect them. Take pictures of them with your camera phone, and turn them into positive images that you can then enjoy and share with your family and friends. So, here's the setup. The problem with photographing negatives is, of course, that they are a negative, and then they have to be backlit. So it's a little bit trickier than photographing snapshots, which you can do really easily with Google PhotoScan. We did an episode on that a little while ago. So what I've come up with here is a little process. I've got some acrylic frames, these cost, you know, this is like two bucks. And the reason I got the acrylic frame is I can slide…
