A great feature found in Canon DSLR cameras is being able to use it wirelessly. How do you control your camera wirelessly? How do you remote control your Canon DSLR camera with a mobile app? In this video, join Richard Harrington as he walks through how to connect your Canon DSLR to the Canon Camera Connect app.
- One of the options you have…with the Canon Camera Connect app…is the ability to transfer images…from your camera back to your smartphone.…This makes it easy to share on social media,…or to friends and family…without having to go back to a computer first.…I'll go ahead and tap Images on camera.…In this case, you'll notice that only some…of the images that we captured today…are properly stored.…That's because these images were the JPEG versions.…If you don't shoot RAW+JPEG,…the Canon Camera Connect app…will not be able to pull down the RAW file…and convert it to JPEG.…
This is set to only work with JPEGs by default.…Now, what we can do here is a few choices.…First, I tap the gear icon,…and I'm going to choose a resolution.…I can decide to save a smaller file for social media,…the original size, or make the choice when saving,…and click OK.…I also can delete location information.…I'll click OK here.…This option is great if you want the GPS data…to help you organize your photos…when you get back to your photo library,…
