- Another significant advantage that you have…when working with a full-size camera…is the ability to work with external lighting,…specifically strobe lighting.…This is just a small pocket strobe.…Small, portable, inexpensive,…but it puts out an absolutely immense amount of light…when you compare it to an LED light of the same size.…Now an LED light is the only thing that you can use…when you're shooting with your smartphone.…You cannot shoot with strobe.…So if you want a lot of light,…you're gonna need to go with a full-size camera.…So what does a light like this allow you to do?…Well, first of all, because there's so much light,…you can modify it, you can bounce it, you can diffuse it,…you can do all kinds of things with it.…
So for example, a flashlight like this could shoot into…or even through an umbrella like this one here.…You might be working with simple diffusion panels like this.…Or you can be working with a huge diffuser like this,…which is part of a studio lighting system,…like this one here.…Now let's be fair.…
