- [Instructor] There are always alternatives to stock imagery. The big question you have to ask is how much are you willing to spend for custom work, and how much time do you have to go through the creation process. Well what do I mean by custom work? The first option would be a custom created photograph or design, using a professional photographer or graphic designer and give you exactly the look and feel you're asking for without compromise. Do you want a duck on ice skates as your company mascot? Sure, there may be a stock solution out there, but will it be the one you want. A simple photo of a duck and some Photoshop magic can go a long way to getting you exactly what you're looking for. Another option is original illustrations. Custom illustrations can also help you stand out from the competition.
