- I'd say we had about two minutes of sunlight, but man it was a glorious two minutes. In that time I was able to get about four compositions that I really liked, and I'm so excited to bring these images into light room and share them with you. And what we'll do it we'll take my favorite infrared and we'll process it from start to finish. Especially using Silver Efex Pro 2 to really bring out that special black and white quality. I really want to reiterate how fantastic infrared photography is for shooting in the middle of the day, shooting in that period of time where typically all cameras, visible light cameras are in the bag and you're off doing something else. If you're an infrared shooter, you're having a blast. This particular location, this incredible iconic tree at Wanaka from 10 AM to 4 PM this time of year, it's fantastic for infrared.
