Shooting a misty mountain scene in the fjords

Been a beautiful drive through Fiordland National Park. We've just pulled off the side of the road. I've noticed some low clouds intermingled with the trees. The forests here are just beautiful, so dense, and with the clouds you're able to get this interesting contrast. So, I'm doing two things here. I've got the Fuji X-T1 with my long lens. I've got a lens hood to protect against the rain. It's just raining just a bit, and I'm shooting up. So, if you're shooting up and you don't have a lens hood your lens is gonna get wet. If you're shooting down your lens generally doesn't get wet unless it's windy and it's sideways rain. What I'm trying to do is pull out patches within the forest where I get some of the trees coming out through those low clouds, so you have this white dark contrast. So that's one shot I'm going after. Because it's so far in the distance, and I'm shooting a relatively flat plane, I'm able to shoot it at f/5.6.
