I'm seeing more and more photos in Twitter. And you can share photos directly from iPhoto to your Twitter account. Now setting up is a little different. I'm going to go to the Share menu here, and you see that we have Twitter right here. It's in the Share menu, but if we go to Preferences. And if I click plus to add an account, you won't see Twitter here. Where is it? Well, I'm going to show you right now. Go ahead and cancel this. You actually have to go to your System Preferences, go to Internet Accounts, and then you add it here.
All right. So that's a little inconsistent. But now you know the secret. So let's go back to iPhoto. I'm going to tweet my kitty right here. So I'm going to click on the image. I'm going to go to Share. I'm going to go to Twitter. Isn't that cute, the way they do that? Now I'm going to write my tweet. So my kitty is back home seven and a half hours away and I'm working here. I love working here but I do miss my kitty. So, I think I have that all set up. That looks good, always reread your tweet before you send it out. If we've learned nothing else, right? Reread your tweet before clicking Send. There she goes.
Let's see if it showed up. We did this directly from iPhoto. Okay, here's my Twitter page. Let's refresh it. And scroll down. And look, there it is. Just like that. You know, some people aren't crazy about pictures, in Twitter, other people love them. The thing that I will tell you, I use Twitter quite a bit, is that I've noticed that tweets that have interesting photos with them, seem to get a bit more attention. And know that you can do that now directly from iPhoto by using the Share Menu, right here.
