…For this particular example, we chose the iconic shot of Moebius Arch,…the shot that I always wanted to get before I came here.…I wanted just the Arch itself, very clean with Mount Whitney in the background.…So for this shot I locked it down.…I pretty much had my shot ready to go.…And I decided to wait and explore how the light changed from scene to scene.…For our daytime shot,…the light was usually not exactly my favorite light to be shooting in.…Daytime sometimes has too high contrast, doesn't usually give me the soft color of…light that I'm looking for as a photographer.…
But nonetheless, there are a lot of opportunities that you can take…in shooting in this type of environment.…First of all, the contrast is so high.…If you're shooting black and white photography, daytime is fantastic.…You have such harsh lights, really harsh shadows, and that separation when you…go black and white from dark to light are very apparent.…So now on to sunset, one of my favorite shots of the whole shoot.…Now I wasn't exactly expecting this to be a perfect shot.…
