Critiquing the urban low-light street shots
- All right, we'll work back from the Lower East Side. It was a fun night. We started off at this amazing mural. I love this mural, and so did a lot of passers-by, as you can see from this first photograph of the baby Hulk by Ron English, the artist. You know, there's a lot of action, a lot of stuff going on, and I tried a few different things. So, you know, people are going by, many of them were stopping to take pictures. I would take more than a few because I don't know, really, what's going to be the best frame. I mean, photography's fleeting. I don't always see the image that I actually end up with because, you know, that split second the mirror's up, and I wasn't there. You know, I'm triggering on instinct for a lot of this stuff. More than a couple of people went and mimicked the baby Hulk pose. And that makes for a fun photograph. I think for me, this picture was most successful, mainly because this woman, I think, really captured the face of the baby Hulk. And you can see the…
