- I'm not done talking about copyright. Copyright is something that we kind of live and die by as photographers. What's going to happen to you is, at some point you're going to get pretty good at this stuff. At some point you're going to shoot a trophy house, something special. It might be a celebrity's house. It might just be a really amazing piece of architecture. It's going to be somebody's special project, and at that moment that somebody is going to notice your photos and come to you and say hey I want those pictures. Now if you're lucky they're going to pick up the phone and call you and say, "Hey I want those pictures." If you're not lucky they're just going to take 'em. They're out there on the internet, because you're real-estate agent client has posted them everywhere that they can, which they should do, and people can swipe them, it happens.
