Day three challenge: Shooting a framed subject

- Welcome to day three of the five-day photo challenge. You're almost halfway through here. Today is actually going to be a very basic compositional exercise, but it's something that I think a lot of people forget about sometimes as a compositional device, and that is framing. Now, I don't mean framing in the way we say, "Well, I'm going to frame up a shot," I mean finding something in the world that you can use as a frame within your shot, something to contain your subject or contain your action. These can be very physical objects or constructions, they can be tonal, they can be differences in light and shadow, just something that creates an actual graphical frame in your shot to hold your subject. That's it! So, good luck, come back to the next movie, I'll show you what I find.
