What is ISO?
If you've ever tried shooting photographs of your crafts inside or in low, low light situations, you've probably noticed that you've gotten some blurry shots, or maybe some camera shake. And if you understand how to use your ISO on your digital camera, you can combat that and get some great images in low light situations. ISO is one of the three big things you need to understand when it comes to exposure. But all you really need to remember is that ISO controls the sensitivity your digital sensor has to the available light. It's kind of like when we had film cameras. The digital sensor is determining what kind of light situation we're in and then it's making adjustment for it. So, because we're out here in this bright light, we actually only need a very low ISO. Our camera doesn't need very much sensitivity. If we were back shooting crafts in that barn. We would want to crank our ISO way up, so that we could absorb more light, and get a nice clear picture.
