Welcome to London
- At this point we've walked a lot of miles together. First in Hong Kong, then Dubai, and Paris. But for this episode we're in my absolute favorite city in the world. For The Traveling Photographer, I'm David Hobby. Welcome to London. London is a fantastic and accessible city that's an ideal first overseas destination for kids. It's a great city for walking and discovering a history that is closely linked with that of our own in the United States. The River Thames runs right through the heart of London, and you'll find yourself spending much of your time here. But there are also great side trips to be had. We'll be visiting nearby Greenwich, home of the prime meridian. No matter what you decide to do in London, it's hard to go wrong in a city with so many choices of things to do and see. As usual, we have some ideas and suggestions for when you want to slip out of traveler mode and spend a little quality time with your camera. But remember, when you're traveling with your camera and your family, it's all about the balance.
