Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Using multiple shots to create a time-lapse, part 2, part of Time-Lapse Video: Nighttime.
- Now, if we load this up, and we try to take a look,…you're gonna see that these are really big files,…and chances are your system won't be able to handle…the playback in real time.…Remember, you can drop the quality down here…and that'll help a bit,…but it's still an awful lot of data…trying to be read from your disk.…Alright, what I recommend is that you simply take these…and drop it into a new sequence.…Now, chances are it's going to be way too big,…so let's fit that to the frame and there's our first shot.…
I'll now grab shot two, and I can place it.…Now, you'll notice, if you put it right after,…you can't put a dissolve between these two…because you're at the end on both clips.…So, either delete away some of these frames…and pull them up together,…or simply overlap the clips with a little bit of stacking.…This allows you to take a look at the actual shot here,…and if we expand that a bit, there it is,…we can use a tool like the pen tool…and simply right-click on the shot…and make sure you're looking at the opacity overlay.…
