- When shooting timelapse on this camera just be sure to turn the top dial into timelapse mode. You will find completely control with manual settings and I have shot extensively on this camera for timelapse. One of the things I like about this camera is the micro four thirds it's small and compact, making it easy for me to take multiple units with me out into the field. You see, in fact, I do own two of these cameras and it's routine for me to bring them both into the field for timelapse shooting. The smaller size and lighter weight makes it easier for me to travel and if I'm shooting in remote locations to get good results. Now, because of the smaller sensor in timelapse shooting you will see a bit of noise and you can't shoot quite as short of shutter speeds for nighttime photography. You're gonna have to draw that out to thirty or even longer seconds or perhaps use manual control to the get the exposure you want.
