Shooting stuffed animals and people on the boardwalk
- All right, well, I continued on, listen, it does not take any time at all to find photo opportunities. I was walking. I saw this couple with a stuffed animal. It was being lit beautifully by the sun so I kinda took a picture candidly. They saw me and I said, "Hey, can I take a "shot of the stuffed animal?" The said, "No problem." Just photographing that. (laughing) I was (mumbling) and held it out. I took a few shots of it. Just the stuffed animal with the backdrop of Coney Island. It could be a cool shot. I never know what's gonna be the best shot and I don't edit in the field. I just shoot and I look later. In my experience sometimes just a quick shot ends up being the shot. One of the photographers I admire is a great street shooter, was a great street shooter, Garry Wnogrand said, "I photograph to see "what things look like photographed," and in my experience sometimes you take a shot and it looks way better than it did in reality and vice versa sometimes.
