Shooting a ride with the moon in the shot

- When I looked over at the rollercoaster, probably one of the oldest rollercoasters probably in North America, the Cyclone here at Coney Island, I noticed that through the tracks you can see the moon. It wasn't quite a full moon but it was a beautiful moon nonetheless. So I thought, hmm, this could make an interesting photograph. It's going to be a while though I think before it goes up again but I think this could be nice if it goes up soon enough. Now unfortunately the Cyclone does not run very often and because it's so cold there are not that many people taking it. But you know what, so often it's just focus and wait. So I decided that okay I would wait and see if the ride was going to happen. So I kind of stood in that one place. I took some shots. I got my exposure right. Because it's a full moon, I had to underexpose the scene to really capture the moon detail and everything else can go dark and that was kind of fine. And then I just kind of waited. I waited.
