(jazzy music) (riders shriek) - Hey everyone, my name is Steve Simon, and I'm standing outside the gates of the world famous Coney Island. And in this course, I'm gonna tell you how to tell a full story in still pictures. And you know, there's an art to it. Yeah, go ahead, guys, go ahead. In my experience, you have to have a lot of different pictures to really kind of tell the complete story.
There's so much going on here. We're gonna photograph at the boardwalk. I just like what you're doing, just do what you normally do. We're gonna photograph at the rides. (camera clicks) The people. - Hey, why you take a picture of him when I'm much more handsome? - He's got a point. The food. Can I get you eating a cotton candy? Take a bite. The details, the color, the energy, the excitement. And that's the key.
- Yeehaw! - The same kind of techniques that I'll be showing you can be used when you go to your local fair. I can't wait to have you follow me in there. There's a lot going on here. Let's just get in there and start shooting.
