Shoot: Side trip to Greenwich
- Today we are taking a brief side trip to visit Greenwich, which is just east of downtown London. There's several ways to get there, but I suggest taking the Thames Clipper, a river boat which will take you right to the center of town. Use your Oyster Card to get a discount, which brings the price down to about $7 one way. Rather than buy a round-trip, you can use your Oyster pass to return for free via the bus, or Docklands Railway if you like. We chose the bus. Along the way you'll go under the Tower Bridge, you'll pass the Docklands, you'll pass Canary Wharf, essentially you're seeing the modern history of London unfold along your journey. Arriving in Greenwich, you're first sense will be that you've left some of the hustle and bustle and crowds of London behind. Greenwich is the G in GMT, Greenwich Mean Time, the Prime Meridian.
