- 20 years ago, I arrived in Paris for the first time with my wife Susan. We were young and we had no money. But that didn't stop us from traveling. Even if we had to do it on the cheap. One of my favorite memories was picnicking with Susan on the large field at the base of the Eiffel Tower and watching the sunset behind it. So that's what we're gonna do. We're gonna picnic and watch the sunset and shoot. For first-time Paris visitors, a sunset at the Eiffel Tower is a must-do. It's free, and it's something you'll remember for the rest of your life. And best of all, it's a fantastic moment and it's a fantastic picture, all wrapped into one. Over the course of the evening, you'll get a steadily-changing mix of lights on and behind the tower as the sunset turns into deep dusk. Just relax, enjoy your company, and shoot through the changes.
