Over the next couple videos, we're going to talk about something that's a little more advanced technique, but as your going to see, once you understand the basics of it, and how to break it down and set up the shot, it's not really that difficult. So, let me explain what we've got here. First of all, we have our model, Carolyn, hello Carolyn, and we have the beautiful Las Vegas city be behind us. We're up on a hotel balcony and I want to take a photo of her and the city in the background. And of course, have them both exposed evenly. Now, ultimately we're going to want to do this shot at sunset and at night, when all the city lights are on. But we're going to set up for it now in full daylight just to show that this same technique works no matter what the lighting situation is. So the real challenge that we have here, of course, is that the light in the background. The city is in full sunlight but our model is not. She's under the shade of the balcony.
