Pro tip: Renting a view

Pro tip: Renting a view
ProTip you can rent a view, this was one of my favorite tricks as a newspaper photographer. Would be to keep $20 in my pocket in case I needed to rent the use of someone’s balcony or something to get a view of an obscured news event. Like if they’re putting up barriers and such. I use that same philosophy when I’m traveling to get a different view of skyline. Tonight is our last night in Hong Kong, and we have rented a view by going to a rooftop bar. So, yeah the drinks are a little expensive, but they’re totally worth it. Because we get to see a vantage point that only the very wealthy bankers and such in Hong Kong typically get to see. So, for the last night of our Hong Kong trip we’re are renting a view, and that’s a great idea if you want to find a different vantage point to shoot a skyline.
